Princess Azemah Ni’matul Bolkiah married her cousin Prince Bahar Ibni Jefri Bolkiah earlier this month in the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.
The wedding will be held according to traditional Islamic rituals at the Istana Nurul Iman palace from January 8. NY Post news. The event consisted of seven ceremonies in the following days, including gift-giving ceremonies, the awarding of royal insignia, a blessing ceremony on January 11 and a three-day wedding and banquet from January 15.
At the wedding, Princess Azemah wore many splendid costumes, jewelry and a diamond tiara belonging to Queen Saleha.
Princess Azemah, 38, is the daughter of the Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah. Her newlywed husband is Prince Bahar, the son of Jefri Bolkiah, the King’s younger brother.
The wedding has many guests who are royal members and foreign officials. The 4th son of the Sultan of Brunei, Prince Mateen has shared wedding photos. “So happy for my dearest sister with her husband,” he wrote.

King Hassanal, 76, became the world’s longest-serving monarch, following the departure of Queen Elizabeth II last September. He had 12 children, Princess Azemah being the 5th daughter.
He is the supreme leader of Brunei, co-premier, minister of finance, trade, defense, foreign minister, commander of the armed forces, and police. He is also one of the richest leaders in the world, with an estimated fortune of $27.7 billion.
