Ford Transit in Swift’s hands has become a handy mobile home, suitable for long trips but still easy to use as a daily car
The British company Swift has turned the family utility vehicle Ford Transit (also known as the Tourneo in some markets) into a true mobile home called Monza.

From the outside, the car still looks like a regular Ford Transit with a length of less than 5m, easy to move even in the city.

But in fact this is a compact mobile home with a pop-up tent roof. The pop-up fabric roof not only provides more sleeping space, but also makes the “ceiling” appear higher and more airy.

The interior is simple but enough to use with chairs, basic cabinets and the main black and gray tones to bring a pleasant feeling.

The car has 5 seats with the rear bench mounted on rails for back and forth when needed. The three seats on the rear bench can be a bit cramped for adults or older children as the width is reduced to make room for the kitchen and sideboard.

The kitchen area has a stove, sink, and oven integrated into a neat kitchen cabinet

Once the cooking is done, the family can turn the car cabin into a dining room with an independent folding table, adjustable rear bench and swiveling front seats

Sliding cabinets make it easy to store things without making the “house” a mess

After eating, the table can be folded, stowed behind the chair, while the bench transforms into a bed enough for 2 people to sleep

Another bed is designed in the canvas roof of the car, so 4 people can sleep in this Ford Transit mobile home.

Under the bed is a storage space

The minus point on this Ford Transit mobile home is that there is no bathroom, only portable toilets and outdoor showers

The car mainly gets energy from the sun with a 100W battery, keeping the refrigerator and pump running

As a Ford Transit Titanium-based mobile home, it has an 8-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a rearview camera.

Vehicles using Ford EcoBlue 2.0TDCi engine with 130 horsepower and 6-speed manual transmission, can be upgraded to optional automatic transmission and 167 horsepower engine.

The car costs from £67,940, equivalent to VND 1.95 billion with the option of 4 colors. The car seems to be more suitable for traveling in summer than in winter, especially in snowy areas, because it is not equipped with an indoor shower and the tent is easily weighed down by snow.
