Long Vu’s 2015 Mercedes-Benz C250 Exclusive lost registration despite being original – Photo provided by Mr. veil
Talking to Tuoi Tre Online on May 21, the leader of the Inspection Department – Registration Vietnam said that he had asked Registration Center 50-05V, the registrar, to report the damage to the original Mercedes-Benz C250 Exclusive car. .
At the same time, the center should soon contact the owner of the Mercedes-Benz C250 Exclusive to invite him to work and re-register said vehicle.
This person said that the above incident could be due to the recorder getting confused between the lines in the vehicle. The notary will work to determine who is to blame, if the registration center is wrong, it will have to bear the cost of registration for the vehicle owner.
According to him, currently many defective items are accepted when they go to registration, such as: paint color different from that informed on the vehicle registration certificate, bodywork, cockpit, cargo box with engine exhaust gas leak, rim shape of the wheel rim will not be subject to inspection and evaluation…
Before that, Mr. Long Vu (Thu Duc City) shared on social media that his 2015 Mercedes-Benz C250 Exclusive car failed registration because the real picture was different from the system. According to the registrar of Registration Center 50-05V (Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City), the car was replaced by the steering wheel.
Minutes of “notification of defective and damaged items” from the Registration Center 50-05V replied to the car owner that “the shape of the vehicle is not correct with the technical documents, the steering wheel and front bumper are not correct in the photo. in assembly production”.
Meanwhile, Mr. Vu confirmed that he had never changed any of the vehicle’s specifications. He just changed the paint color of the car from black to white and re-registered the documents issued by the Ho Chi Minh City Police.
Mr. Vu explained to the inspector about the Mercedes-Benz C250 series with the C250 AMG version and the version called C250 Exclusive (which is his car), so there is a difference. After that, he also contacted Mercedes-Benz Vietnam and asked the automaker to check that his car had not changed the steering wheel.
However, the inspector still did not solve it and returned the dossier, and asked the car owner to change the steering wheel and front bumper like the newly registered C250 AMG version.
In case of problems, call the Registration Department hotline
Some people in the town of Thu Duc said that they were in the same situation as Mr. Long Voy. Although the car is original, because the versions of the car have different exteriors, they are still discarded.
Nguyen Thi Uyen said he brought the 2020 Ford Everest Titanium car in for inspection and was reported to have failed because the wheel specs did not match the system parameters. After double-checking, she found that the previous inspector had entered the wrong car model, leading to wrong wheel parameters.
Regarding some cases of similar confusion, the Department of Registration encourages people to actively look up vehicle specifications and report them to the department’s hotline for support to resolve.
