Student interns are paid
The internship program is organized by the Department of Japanese Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Van Lang University in collaboration with companies in Japan. This time there are 30 students going to Japan.
This is an internship program at a Japanese company in Japan. The Japanese government grants internship visas only to university students.
The internship period lasts from 6 months to 12 months. Students are entitled to salary and benefits during the internship period.
The program helps students to develop knowledge, skills and experience in a multicultural environment.
In addition, the program also creates a connection between schools, families and companies, contributing to innovate the teaching and training model at university level.

MSc Duong Ngoc Phuc – Deputy Head of the Department of Japanese Studies – said the program is open to students of the school on condition that the Japanese language level is N4.
“The program has received great support from agencies in Vietnam and Japan. This is the third time we have sent students for international internships. The faculty has sent 70 students to Japan to study and work. .
Free international internship program for students. During your internship in Japan, everyone will receive a salary. When the internship is over, Japanese companies will offer to go back to work after graduation. With international internship experience, it is easy for you to apply for a job in Vietnam after graduation,” added Mr. Phuc.
Meanwhile, Nguyen Quynh Nhu (third-year student) shared, “I am very worried when Japanese is not good. But when I hear the sharing of teachers and seniors, I have more experience. the culture, and being able to grow.”
Likewise, friend Ngo Thi Quoc Nga (3rd year student) confided: “I hope I can improve my communication by listening and speaking in Japanese. In addition, I also want to experience Japanese culture and behavior.”
