She bought a used car and accompanied the owner to the vehicle registration team to complete the purchase and sale procedures.
The car he bought can be taken back to the original application in Ho Chi Minh City and then transferred to be registered in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province. After withdrawing the application, the vehicle owner will have to complete the process of canceling the license plate and vehicle registration certificate of the car and storing it in the warehouse.
Similarly, Mr. Tran Tuan Viet (45 years old) went to the team to complete the procedures for buying and selling cars. He sold the car to Dong Nai Province. After completing the buy and sell procedures and completing the recovery procedures, the traffic police proceeded to cancel his license plate and vehicle registration.
According to the vehicle registration team leader, when people go through the process of buying and selling used cars, the license plate and vehicle registration certificate will be recovered by the traffic police and stored in the electronic data warehouse. After 5 years, those who will not need to use this number plate again, it will be taken back and kept in the godown of the traffic police department and will be reissued to others.
When selling a car, the owner can only sell the car and must return the license plate and vehicle registration to the traffic police to store it in the warehouse. When people buy a new car of the same type (car or motorcycle), the police will reuse the old number plate to register the new car. At this point, the police will issue a new vehicle registration certificate with the identified number plate to the previous car owner.
According to this leader, the license plate has been identified and when it is re-issued to the people, the car should be of the same type.
“For example, before you owned a truck with an identified number plate and sold it to someone else, the traffic police confiscated the number plate. As far as motorbikes are concerned, it doesn’t matter the type of vehicle. If the vehicle has the same cylinder capacity, people can use the number plate that has been identified to link it to another motorcycle.
“For example, before you own a motorcycle with 150 cc cylinder capacity and sell it, the traffic police will cancel the license plate and registration certificate. Thereafter, you buy another motorcycle but with the same cylinder capacity.
