Dealers are extensively offering the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid with a discount of VND 100 million for the AT variant and VND 54 million for the MT variant.
However, when spoken to directly, a sales consultant in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City said the actual selling price had been reduced by 20 million dong. Car buyers this time also get an additional package of accessories, including glass stickers, floor coverings, dash cams… which cost around 15 million VND.

The Mitsubishi Xpander MT has a list price of 560 million and is being slashed by 28 million.

This time the heavily discounted Suzuki Ertiga cars are manufactured in 2022. These surviving vehicles have the same equipment as this year’s production cars, aside from factory timing.
Despite several price cuts, the Suzuki Ertiga is not the best selling car in the segment. In July 2023, only 56 units of this MPV model were sold, which is at the bottom of the ranking after Hyundai Stargazer and Toyota Innova. Both these models also have relatively low sales in the segment, but still sell almost 3 times more than the Ertiga.
The model XL7 of the same brand sold 197 units last month. With 2,586 vehicles sold, the Mitsubishi Xpander is way ahead of all other MPVs, not only in the best-selling segment but also in the market in general.
In the current segment, there is also the Honda BR-V – the model with the most safety technology. Apart from this, Ertiga also has to prepare to compete with China’s Haima MPV.
The Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid is an updated version of last year’s model. Compared to the old Ertiga, this model gets a new hybrid engine producing 103.5 hp and 141 Nm of torque, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. The car’s battery is of the lithium-ion type, which helps support acceleration. In general, the Suzuki Ertiga is almost not inferior to other MPV models in the segment, even more so in a hybrid engine. The price of the car is less than all the competitors. However, this model has not been popular with domestic customers.
