A photo of a pair of MG4 and MG Marvel R at a showroom in Ho Chi Minh City has recently been making waves on social networks. At a glance, this time around the color scheme of both the cars is similar to the model that will appear at the Vietnam Motor Show (VMS) in 2022.
Although it is not possible to confirm that these are the same cars that appeared in VMS 2022, but according to information received from sales consultants, both these cars are used only for testing and display in the showroom.
The person also added that the launch of both the cars is timed to coincide with the launch of the MG HS 2023 model, which is around September or October.

Currently, consultants are also starting to receive early deposits for the MG4 and MG Marvel R. Earlier, some MG dealer sales consultants also revealed that the MG4 electric car model may return to Vietnam by the end of this year. However, this information has not been confirmed by MG.
If sold in the Vietnamese market, the MG4 will compete with the Vinfast VF6 by using a dedicated chassis for electric vehicles and a 110mm ultra-thin battery placed neatly under the floor of the car. The standard version is equipped with a 51 kWh battery and 168 hp electric motor for a range of 350 km, rear-wheel drive.

The MG4 was showcased last year with dimensions of 4,287 x 1,836 x 1,504 (mm), wheelbase of 2,705 mm.
