According to the plan, the first number plate to open for auction at 9:15 am on August 22 is Samudra 98A-666.66 (belonging to the license plate of Bak Giang province), after 5 minutes it will be number plate 19A-555.55. The next number plates to be “on the floor” in turn are 30K- 567.89 (9:30), 36A-999.99 (9:35), 43A-799.99 (9:40), 47A-599.99 (9:45). 51K-888.88 (9:50).
The last number plates put up for auction in the first session were: 65A-399.99 (9:55 a.m.) and 99A-666.66 (10:00 a.m.) and 15K-188.88 (10:00 a.m.). As per rules, each auction will run for 60 minutes. The highest bidder will be the owner of the number plate for that auction.
According to the traffic police department, the participants will be paid a price of VND 5 million in each stage. There is no limit to the number of price steps per payment.
The traffic police department said that it is expected that in the afternoon of August 22, this unit will have information to the press about the results of the auction of the first 11 license plates.
