On August 22, the Rolls-Royce Specter – the first electric car from the world’s leading super luxury car brand from the UK – was officially launched for customers in Southeast Asia. The model was earlier slated to be launched globally in late 2022.
Similar to the previous Wraith, the Rolls-Royce Specter is positioned in the luxury 2-door coupe segment but runs on electricity. Although the parent brand denies that the Specter is the name to replace the Wraith in the coupe segment, this new car still inherits the feel of the previous internal combustion engine man.
As per the parameters shared by Rolls-Royce, the Rolls-Royce Specter has a pretty decent wheelbase at 3,210 mm and accordingly a whopping curb weight of 2,975 kg, despite the chassis being made of aluminium.
The battery used in the car makes the coupe structure 30% stronger than any previous Rolls-Royce.

The maximum power of the car is 577 horsepower, 900 Nm of torque, allowing the Rolls-Royce Specter to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The default chassis supports adaptive damping and 2-axle steering technology. The 102 kWh battery offers an estimated operating range of around 530 km per charge, helping customers buy the eponymous line with complete peace of mind while driving.
According to statistics published by Rolls-Royce, its customers drive approximately 5,100 km per year. This means that the average customer who drives a Rolls-Royce Specter throughout the year needs to charge the car exactly 10 times.
In addition, the Rolls-Royce Specter supports fast charging technology that restores the battery from 10 to 80% in 34 minutes when a 195 kW DC charger is used. If time is of the essence, users can spend only 9 minutes recovering enough energy to drive the car a distance of 100 km.
In terms of design, the Rolls-Royce Specter is clearly inspired by the Wraith and the Phantom, but looks wider and lower than the two, which helps bring about a better sporty feel.
A big part of the car’s stance is made up of the widest heatsink ever seen on a Rolls-Royce – an equally exquisite detail when it includes the 22 LED lights that make the new “Ghost” special. Shining in the night

Original Rolls-Royce Specter headlights are located in a deep recess, below a pair of super-slim LED daytime running lights. Above the bonnet, the Spirit of Ecstasy emblem has also been optimized aerodynamically, making the Specter the most aerodynamic Rolls-Royce engined car ever.
The roofline is inspired by luxury yachts, while the 23-inch wheels are the largest size to appear on a Rolls-Royce in nearly 100 years.
The interior of the Rolls-Royce Spectre, even an electric car, doesn’t look much changed compared to its internal combustion engine powered cars. This factor makes sense when Rolls-Royce doesn’t want to experiment with too many new directions that can backfire.

Nevertheless, this area is still not short of highlights, with the digital curtain on the passenger side and the starry sky on the roof now extending to the doors (Starlight Door).
In addition, the Spectre marks the first time that customers can extend the bespoke option into the digital realm. They can now choose to personalize elements such as the color of the dials on the watch to match the interior color scheme or exterior finish of the car.
The price of the Rolls-Royce Specter in Vietnam was announced before Rolls-Royce Vietnam confirmed a starting point of VND 17,990,500.000.
