150 Wuling Air EV mini electric cars have been handed over to the Indonesian government by the company.
It is a service vehicle for the travel of delegates attending the upcoming 43rd ASEAN Summit in Jakarta. This is not the first time Wuling cars have appeared at an international political event.

The Wuling Air EV will be the official vehicle for the trip by representatives of Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia and East Timor. There are 2 versions of Wuling Air EV in Indonesia: Long Range and Standard Range, with a selling price of 243 – 299.5 million rupiah (380 – 470 million VND). The conference logo on both sides of the door as well as the words “Shaping Clean Tomorrow” express the spirit of environmental protection. On the body of the car there is a set of decorative stamps according to the theme of the conference. This time, the car uses traditional batik motifs combining images of fire kites (also known as red-backed eagles) and jasmine flowers (a symbol of the Indonesian capital). The Wuling Air EV is considered a more advanced version of the Hongguang miniEV already present in Vietnam. The Long Range version uses a 50 kilowatts (68 horse power) electric motor combined with an LFP battery, which helps the car reach a top speed of 100 km/h.
