On September 17, the Vietnam Coast Guard Command coordinated with the Lang Son City People’s Committee to hold the “I love the islands and seas of my motherland” competition in 2023 in Lang Son City.
Participating in the event were Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oui – Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard, Major General Le Quang Dao – Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard.

In the end, Ly Thuy Chi (Class 9A1, Hoang Dong Secondary School), Trinh Thi Khanh Huyen (Class 9A3, Chi Lang Secondary School), Nong Phuong Ly (Class 8A2, Tam Thanh Secondary School) won with excellent results.

On the same day, Vietnam Coast Guard Command also visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Kim and People’s Armed Forces heroes: Nong Van Dinh, Duong Cong Suu, Nong Van Phiao (Phio).
In addition, 54 gifts were given to experienced revolutionary cadres, battle-wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs and underprivileged families, and bicycles were given to poor students who overcame difficulties and studied well.
