On the morning of October 25, the 8th Congress of the Hanoi Student Association, period 2023 – 2028, began with the participation of 415 delegates representing approximately 500,000 members and students of the capital.
At the first session, the Consultative Congress appointed Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung as President of the Vietnamese Student Association of Hanoi, Term VIII.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung (35 years old) holds a Doctorate in Banking and Finance with an advanced degree in Political Theory. Previously, Mr. Hung was the President of the Vietnamese Student Union of Hanoi, Term VII, term 2018 – 2023.
In addition, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Vietnamese Student Union of Hanoi for the eighth term, consisting of 44 members, 107 official delegates and 12 alternate delegates to participate in the 5th Vietnamese Student Union Congress. XI.
In addition, the Congress Presidium also presented a report summarizing the contributions of the Vietnam Student Association to the draft political report of the 11th Congress.
In addition to Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung, the Executive Committee Conference also negotiated to elect 4 Vice Presidents of the City Student Association for the eighth term, including Hoang Thanh Tam, Vu Thi Minh Hang, Tuong Van Thuan and Vu Thi Ngoc.
Within the framework of the Congress, the Hanoi Student Association organizes such activities as the Great Music Festival and the Festival of Capital Student Music Groups, the International Student Youth Festival, the 5 Good Students Festival, the talkshow “Catch the Wave” online “crossing the wave”. ,
