Kia K5 – The Korean brand’s flagship mid-size sedan was given a mid-life upgrade on October 27. In early November, the sedan was publicly displayed for interested users to see firsthand the changes made.
In terms of design, the frame design of the facelift version has not changed much compared to the prototype launched in 2019. This is because the above frames are rated quite well.
The front lights have been redesigned to look more modern, and the lower air vents now resemble those on the Kia EV6 GT-Line electric SUV. Similarly, the taillights have also been refined with an improved rear bumper below. The ducktail spoiler has been made more visible.

The interior of the Kia K5 2024 sees the most obvious change with two 12.3-inch screens housed in a curved glass frame. The physical buttons on the car have been removed to place the features on the main screen. Vehicle software allows updates in real time through an Internet connection. Additionally, users can also operate and control the vehicle remotely through a smartphone application.
There is a wireless phone charging pad in the center console position and a small gear knob next to the fingerprint reader system. The location of the front and rear seats has not changed.

On the technical side, the Kia K5 facelift features only changes to the suspension system to optimize comfort and better soundproofing. Powertrain options remain the same including a 2.0L 158 horsepower gasoline, 1.6L turbocharged 178 horsepower, 2.0L 144 horsepower, and a 192 horsepower hybrid.
The price list for the Kia K5 facelift in Korea has been announced, ranging from 27.84 to 39.54 million won (506.6 to 719.4 million VND).
