Suzuki has just released a limited amount of photos and information about the new Swift, but from the published data, the finished product is no different from the concept version that the company introduced at the Japan Mobility Show 2023 held in late October. Via – Photo: Suzuki
On November 7, the fourth generation of Suzuki Swift was officially launched in Japan. The selling price and many vehicle parameters have not yet been fully announced. The company has promised to announce more details when the car goes on sale in Japan at the end of the year.
The urban hatchback line may be available in international markets, including Vietnam, from mid-2024.
Basically, the Suzuki Swift 2024 is more of an upgraded version of the older generation than a complete refresh. The design of the Suzuki Swift 2024 has been refined from the older version with sharp lines. The door handles hidden high in the rear of the older version have been replaced with more convenient conventional door handles.

High-end versions of the car use 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights/taillights and decorative chrome cladding. Rear disc brakes and electronic handbrake seem to have become standard equipment.
The interior of the new Suzuki Swift is similar to the concept version. The 9-inch central touch screen (previously 7 inches) supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and satellite navigation. The clock cluster consists of a small screen between two display clocks.
Some of the equipment listed by the company for the Suzuki Swift 2024 include heated front seats, automatic air conditioning, 2 USB ports, front/rear parking assist sensors, steering wheel shift paddles, and 360-degree camera.

Suzuki Swift 2024 temporarily has only one option in the transmission segment. By default, the car uses a 1.2L 3-cylinder gasoline engine with CVT transmission whose specifications have not been announced. This engine replaces the older 1.2L 4-cylinder line, with Suzuki promising that the new version will bring better fuel efficiency and performance.
For now, the future of the 1.0L turbocharged version of the Swift and the 1.4L turbocharged version of the old Swift Sport is unclear.

The dimensions of the car were not announced in detail, but the concept’s 3,860 mm long, 1,695 mm wide, 1,500 mm high and 2,450 mm wheelbase frame is probably still correct.
Compared to the outgoing model, the Suzuki Swift 2024 is 20 mm longer, 5 mm taller but narrower by 40 mm. The wheelbase remains the same, meaning the cabin space remains unchanged.
The addition of front and rear sensors and a 360-degree camera helps the new Swift integrate more modern driver assistance technologies.
Some examples include advanced automatic emergency braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, automatic reverse braking, automatic high beams, and detection. Signage.
