Jacob spent several years building small-scale homes (cabins) in forests across the United States. He said: “I started building cabins because when I was a kid, I loved castles and Ewoks (cute creatures that look like Japanese teddy bears). star wars, I always wanted to live in a beautiful fairy tale house. I want to live like a hobbit. I have a great book about the Craft Movement of the 1970s. I read it as a child and imagined that one day I would live in one of those houses.”
After a long journey, the truck cabin now stands at the spot where the two were transformed into Rainforest Cabinland. This was also a temporary agreement between Jacob and Sarah.
