In mid-November, MG brought out the new MG 3 in what could have been the last practical test of the car before its full global launch.
The test version of the MG3 2025 is still under wraps, but it is not difficult to recognize that the exterior of the car has a more modern and sharp design than before.
The front of the car sports a combination of slim projector headlights with LED daytime running lights. The sides of the car come with shiny 16-inch alloy wheels with dark cladding. Notably, the rear wheels have disc brakes instead of the drum brakes in many current configurations. The taillights at the rear of the car have a 2-cluster structure, with a small roof-mounted spoiler above.

Based on the experimental MG 3 version, the exterior of the car is quite modern and sharp in design. The front of the car sports a combination of slim projector headlights with LED daytime running lights. The sides of the car come with shiny 16-inch alloy wheels with dark cladding.
The interior of the test version is also hidden, but the dashboard features two tall tablet-like screens approximately 10.25 inches in size standing independently of each other.
In front of the driver is a flat-bottomed 2-spoke sports steering wheel. There is a central control cluster between the two front seats that uses a gear shift knob with an integrated rear storage compartment that is quite large.

In the transmission segment, the new MG 3 is expected to use a 1.5L 4-cylinder gasoline engine with 2 different power levels. The regular version has a maximum power of 121 hp. The high-end version supports hybrid technology with a total estimated capacity of 177 horsepower.
With the advent of hybrid configuration, the price range of MG 3 could go quite high. There is not expected to be much difference in the starting price. The current reference starting price of the car is 59,800 yuan, equivalent to 200.2 million VND.
The MG 3 was first launched in 2008 and went into production just 3 years later in 2011. However, the third generation of this city car will not be launched until 2024, as the second generation has undergone 2 facelifts.
