The strong dollar could be the main driver of this rally. In Japan, prices are up about 30%, a significant increase since the yen’s sharp weakness this year. Earlier this summer, Apple raised prices on its Macs, iPhones, and iPads to account for the currency disparity. The euro suffered a similar fate, currently trading at near par with the US dollar and showing signs of further weakness in the near future.
