Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan shared that when speaking at the meetingConference on the situation and sustainable development of national parks organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the afternoon of August 12.
According to Mr. Hoan, national parks are taking care of the welfare of animals in the forest, but they do not take care of the welfare of forest keepers so that the rangers “go in and out”.
“We need to have a mindset on how to be a golden forest and feed the forest keepers,” said Mr. Hoan.
According to Mr. Hoan, if you want a solution, you must have the right approach, if you approach it from the perspective of protection and conservation, the solution is also conservation. If you approach sustainable development, then find solutions for sustainable development.
“The conference is for the ministry to collect more ideas and initiatives so that after this conference the ministry will have a bigger job” – Mr. Hoan shared and said. Each step must be unified approach, not in the direction of taking a shot to make money to feed the apparatus.
“It is necessary to approach in the direction of how to let people come to admire and experience what nature has to offer plus the achievements that we are preserving, conserving and developing biodiversity. If thinking the opposite is true. , it is said that ‘eating from the forest brings tears to your eyes, don’t exploit the forest'” – Mr. Hoan shared.
He also emphasized that the balance between protection, conservation and development of national parks needs to have a suitable approach.
“Instead of thinking about doing tourism to make money, tourism can be a way to propagate, introduce and promote Vietnam’s resources to friends around the world. supportive and appropriate in the current period”.
