On September 11, Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue and the Vietnamese delegation attended the donation ceremony of medical supplies and equipment for COVID-19 prevention and control.

On behalf of the high-ranking delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Office of the National Assembly Bui Van Cuong received the support of vaccines and medical supplies from the government, a number of Vietnamese enterprises, and foreign enterprises for Vietnam.

Specifically, Slovakia donated 100,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Vietnam. NG Biotech Group donated 1 million COVID-19 antigen rapid test kits worth 5 million euros (135 billion VND). T&T Group donated 1 million RT-PCR test kits with a total value of 6 million euros (162 billion dong).

In addition, T&T Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company signed a cooperation agreement on technology transfer and production of Virella SARS-CoV-2 RT-PCR test kits in Vietnam with GERBION GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), signed a cooperation agreement with HYPRA Human Health SL U Company (Spain) on clinical trial and purchase of vaccine against COVID-19 HIPRA SARS-CoV-2 with an expected quantity of 50 million doses, the total contract value is about 375 million euros (VND 10,500 billion).

T&T pharmaceutical company also signed a contract to transfer technology for manufacturing COVID-19 vaccines in Vietnam with HYPRA Human Health SLU Company (Spain), and signed a contract to buy and sell RT-PCR test kits made in Vietnam. Germany with AVESTOS INTERNATIONAL GMBH (Germany) with a total contract value of 80 million euros (VND 2,160 billion); signed a contract to buy 1 million COVID-19 PCR test kits with MINGOTHINGS SL Company (Spain), with a total contract value of about 6 million euros (VND 162 billion).

Earlier, on the afternoon of September 11 (Vietnam time), within the framework of the official visit to the Republic of Finland, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and members of the high-ranking delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam attended the Seminar.
