Meanwhile, the police received a tip about a local resident named Jeong Seong-hyeon, living alone in a house only 130 meters away from Lee’s residence, once embroidered a car on the day 2 the child is missing and return it the next day. On June 18, 2008, Jeong was sentenced to death at the Suwon District Court for three counts of murder. He filed two appeals in October 2008 and February 2009 but was rejected both times.
