The program of Vietnam Day Abroad will take place in Austria, India, and Korea, with activities to promote traditional culture.

“The program will bring a fresh image of Vietnam after the pandemic to three precious friends,” Deputy Director General of Cultural Affairs and UNESCO Tran Quoc Khanh said today at a press conference at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. , Hanoi.

The show takes place from September 28-29 in Vienna, Austria, November 3-4 in New Delhi, India and from late November to December in Seoul, South Korea. This year Vietnam celebrates the 50th anniversary of the establishment of relations with Austria and India, and the 30th anniversary of relations with South Korea.

During the events, there will be activities such as the relationship establishment celebration, business forum and cultural promotion activities such as Vietnamese tea art, Dong Ho folk painting making, lacquer painting performance, dance. Water puppetry and food exchanges.

“We are coordinating and enhancing the application of modern technology to spread the good cultural values ​​of Vietnam to the overseas Vietnamese community and the international public,” Khanh said. “Thereby promoting bilateral and multilateral cooperation opportunities in all fields.”

Vietnam Day Abroad is an annual national promotion program held since 2010, often taking place on the sidelines of official visits by senior Vietnamese leaders to partner countries.
